Indiana's Defense Ecosystem is Leading the Nation, And it Shouldn't Surprise Anyone
Indiana is known for a lot of things; corn, great basketball, and defense innovation. If that last one caught you off guard, it shouldn’t have. Our state is home to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane), the Navy's third-largest (and only landlocked) installation. This sprawling facility in southern Indiana is the testing ground for some of the Department of Defenses' most innovative technology. Leaders and researchers there understand the speed of the warfighter and the speed of business and how the two need to synchronize to create innovative national security solutions that keep us all safer.
